I've been buying that dumb book for a long time now. I've still got every issue from the 8th Edition to present. The 2006 is the worst for errors but the 2007 is still pretty bad for errors. I keep them in as good condition as possible. It is becoming a collectable as much as coins. Note in the 2007 edition on page 391 to 393 they give prices for the old issues. However, at most coin shows I go to there is no market for them. Only on ebay could they be sold but then anything could be sold on ebay.

I too called the 800 number listed on page 4 of the Red Book for the free Silver Eagles. I think the number is like a telemarkets number. They too wouldn't let me off the phone trying to get me to buy Gold $25 dollar coins. They wanted me to buy 20 of them and I started to laugh so hard I think he cought on this was going nowhere. They will accept checks so I am sending one now for the $10. I don't like to give out a credit card number to some nut on the phone I don't know. I hope I get 3 of them also.

As to the Red Book errors, the no number on some pages is irritating to me. Note the add for the free coins is on page 4 but you can't tell that unless you go to page 6 and count backwards. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
