This one came in a large lot i won at auction about a month ago and I assumed it had been plated when i first saw it (i didnt buy the lot for this coin). Anyway when i got the coins i weighed this one just to get it out of the way but it weighs 2.49 grams which i think is a bit heavy for an unplated cent and too light for one that was plated over the copper. The other thing is that it looks like it has a brushed look to it like its been cleaned, but the details seem too good to have had the copper brushed off.
