2007 ase unc eagles arrived today

I hate to burst your bubble but for the first time one of the three I received yesterday was out of its cointain but still in the box the other two were fine and in there nice and snug.

The box was rattling when I picked up from the mailbox and I now understand what others have experienced. Funny though the bottom half of the cointain was still stuck in the holder and top popped off......

I got one today and i am sending it back. I expect a collector coin from the mint to be spot free. They really should hire a guy to look at the coins before sending them out.:headbang:

I got 2 more today. Some of mine are still backordered. Mint site says they will ship the 17th.. but 2 of mu uncirrculated ones arrived today with RIM SCUFFS and SHINY SPOTS. no milky spots at least. I agree someone should be hired to LOOK at them before they go out. I hope I get at least ONE gradable unit.

The fibers shed from the velvety container. I'm glad someone mentioned that theirs popped open.. I'll be careful.

I'll feel better when I see my 06 W PR70 Gold Eagle arrive

 

i got 2 the other day the mint say i still have some in stock and reserved

 

Got mine two weeks ago, the 2007 will not have the same value that the 2006-w did and I must say I did like the pouch idea last year.

 

I received my order yesterday. The coins look great and I can't find a flaw on either of them. Good job by the Mint. I don't expect the 2007-w to be valued as highly as the 2006-w. That's okay.

 

I know this is an UNC thread, but my PFs arrived today finally. 4 weeks.

I only opened one box.. and it would be a PF70 IMO if it weren't for a single little tiny shiney streak in the middle of the eagle's ribbon. THis thing looks like it was *the* first strike. The little crosshatching on the thing is amazing looking. Anyone else have that ribbon mark?

 

For those having trouble getting the coin out of the plastic holder, I have found pushing from the back of the plastic holder pops them right out but keeps the airtite intact, no screwdrivers, broke nails and less profanity. I miss the blue pouch too.. it was a nice touch. If it can't be in the pouch I think they should be in boxes similar to the proofs but that'd probably kick the price up $10
