Just a word of caution. Usually, but naturally not always, the larger the show, the more you'll pay for coins. The reason is just logical. If a large coin show, many dealers have traveled a long distance, stay at hotels/motels, pay for meals, gas, wear and tear on vehicals or use rentals and just lots of other items. This means they must make money somewhere to cover this and since they are selling coins, guess what the prices will reflect. I've been going to coin shows for well into the 30 or so year area now and that is what I've observed. Smaller, local shows with local dealers can and do save on most of those cost since they usually live within reason of the show locations.

Now if your in the Wisconsin area and depending on which side of Milwaukee you may note there are many shows in the Chicago area that are much better with prices. Now as an example of another coin show there is one this weekend at a place called the Rosemont Convention Center here in Illinois. It is from June 21 to 24 and will have at least 175 dealers from 30 different states. Since this is 4 day show the dealers will be staying at local hotels and they are really, really expensive in the Rosemont area. This is the area where they have the Allstate Arena, Rosemont Theater, numerous hotels/motels. The Covention Center is so big there are usually several types of shows going on at the same time. It's $5 to get in and about $11 to park. Prices of coins usually reflect the areas high cost.
