Sorting thru more quarters from my stash, looking for a last few quarters from the Philadelphia mint to finish off a collection for the grand babies, when I noticed something odd on the reverse. While looking over entire coin, I found several die cracks, mostly on the obverse. Would the oddity on the reverse, between 3-5pm be considered a die crack as well? Thanks!

That is very interesting. I think you might have forming Rim to Rim Die Crack (pre Cud)

    Thanks for sharing!

I also like what is going on with the neckline.
That Quarter was hit with a worn die.

The bust crack is pretty common on these clad quarters. But I have to agree with Paddyman there may be a retained and cud out there Cool find!

The die crack on the reverse is probably a few thousand coins short of a "full-blown" cud.

I was just looking online to see if there were any others similar to this one and the first image to pop up was a cud coin, same area. It would be awesome if I could find a cud one!

Does anyone have a “pre-cud” and “cud” of the same coin in their collection?

Thanks! Believe it or not, it’s just my cell phone with a $7 clip on macro lens, that came with a fish-eye lens and one other lens...from a big name, inexpensive store. :)
