That is a 2006 with no mark, not the 2006-P. There are a couple rare varieties for this year, a 2006 that is magnetic and a 2006-P that is not. Unless you have one of those two, your coin is worth face value circulated.

The steel version ones are worth checking - i see one on ebay over a (C) hundred dollars. These are usually a hundred plus dollar coin. is your magnetic ??? but the odds is that its zinc. Snowman

it was mentioned that Canada doesn't make their cent anymore. It seems to me that they send them all down here in North Carolina. I bet I get at least 1 in change every other month. I just put them in my Canada collection.

As I've reiterated in the past, Canada was incredibly stupid for not continuing minting their "pennies" for collectors only. They could have charged a premium for them, making money and keeping collectors happy. If the U.S. Mint decides to eliminate circulating zincolns, hopefully they continue to mint collection quality Lincoln cents reverting back to the pre 1982 copper-rich composition. The Mint would make money and keep collectors happy. Of course, that is assuming that the U.S. Mint would actually care about collectors.
