    1) Your photo is too blurry, especially when we try to enlarge it. Use a copy stand or tripod to stabilize the camera.

    2) We don't need to look at dirty carpet. When processing your image, crop out all of the unnecessary background.

    Maybe it's a penny with no copper plating...just zinc!

    No - it's been re-plated

    Looking at this coin again I'd say it was replated over a dirty zinc Cent. Simply meaning the coin was not clean when it was plated.
