I like to watch the show with the volume turned all the way down so I cant hear his voice.Like nails on a chalk board.:rolling: If I do see something I like I go to my fav website and get it for way less.

 

I didn't realize that, but it further proves my point - if the folks at TV's Coinvault say it's midnight, go outside and look at the sun.

I should pick up one as well, also have to get the 2005. I have this plan to gather all the ones since my son's birth and give him 20 of them (if they are still making them heh) on his 21st birthday.

 

Anybody know what is so alluring about the Silver Eagles? I mean, don't get me wrong, I like them - and I collect them and they are a nice coin - but the masses seem to be buying them. Even the PART-TIME collectors seem to really go after the Silver Eagles. The guy at the coin shop locally - that is his best selling item, year after year. What's so great about it? hehe - You can tell I'm a PENNY guy :hatch: lol

I went there and they sell for 11.49 each with 4.95 shipping. How did you get the better price and no shipping?

 

i bought them in early december. I'm sure the cost has gone up since then.

I was watching TV today and saw they had for $1249.99, Mint Proof sets from 196-something to 2005, (note this was at 11:35 AM) and turned on the tube 2 hours later and the exact same scene played from when I turned it off (no TiVo yet...). Oh, ( insert exlamatory comment here ).

They came to their senses and used the extra $1000 per coin they make after charging you and used it to include shipping.
