Can we see some pics of the obverse of these coins? That way, we can tell if they're oriented properly within the slab...

The answer is that, now that we know that the rotation that he was referring to was counterclockwise, it is!
My mistake, I missed the direction of the rotation.

My question is then, what should I do with these? Should I have them evaluated by a digfferent grading company?

Hi I also have one of these and i'm sending it to pcgs. Did you send them the coins in a sealed package from the mint? Did you know of the rotatation when you sent them in? They would grade them if the rotation is
15o or greater but you have to specify mint error and pay $40.00 hope this helps.

Yes, I sent them in the package straight from the Mint. I couldn't look at them for this reason. I can't believe that they wouldn't have just charged me extra for the error if it had one.

Should I send them back so they can research it? Thanks for any advice, I'm pretty new to this.

That explains why they didn't give you a rotatated die error. They just don't grade it with a mint error, you have to specify it. You still would have to pay their fees and I'm sure you would get the rotated die designation.Good luck
