I found this in a coin roll when I was 6. It was made on my Birthday, which makes it even better. Sorry, the back is a bit blurry.
Nice find - it's one of the three or four State Quarters with Cuds in the 3:00, 4:00, or 8:00 position - They almost all look the same in size and general shape. (in case you were going to ask, it's about a $10 coin in that condition, and $15 in choice BU.) Hope this helps.
Although I started a few years earlier than you, I was 13 when I got 'serious' about coins, and errors......its a great hobby, and you'll learn about history, minting, culture, etc. in this hobby. I've been doing it for 48 years full time as a dealer - Welcome to a wonderful hobby.
I started when I was 6, and my Grandparents have been the main source for most of my coins. Other than that, my dad used to get me coin rolls at least once a week. I found almost two wheat pennies per roll.
