the mint sold 97,883,960 pieces of 2005 american bison from the two rolls set, 1,000 & 500 pc bag and also sold 39,060,000 pieces of 2005 ocean in view. and as of february. 2006. the mint sold 26,953,320 pieces of return to montecello nickels. aside from that. as of february 28. the mint produced 159,360,000 pieces of 2006 P nickels and 154,320,000 pieces of 2006 D nickels. it expected to produce 1,000,000,000 pieces for P & D mint mark this year.
