    Either I am confused or most of the posters here are -- the mint doesnt make money on the commems. They cover all the materials and such that went into makeing the coin, but distribute the rest to the charitable organization that the coin is for. The mint doesnt lose money on the commems, but they dont post a profit on the either.....
