OK here's the details. The 6th floor of the Radision hotel. I walked right past the person that was supposed to collect my admission fee. So I got in for free. There was a large table with assorted foods. I didn't even bother taking anything since I got in for free. There was about 30 or 40 dealers. Almost NO buyers while I was there. Some of the dealers where pretty good people others where no dought bottom feeder. that where ALL OVER YOU if you stoped and looked and others seemed to be half asleep, lol. I only saw only a small amount of US gold. Which was really very suppressing. I recall only seeing 6 sellers with US gold, none of t was anythign to say oh HEY LOOK AT THAT other then a few old gold Proofs,A few others with some world gold. One seller was desperate to sell off his US paper notes he had about 3 tables full and I don't think anyone was biting. He literally was taking STACKS AND STACKS of money out trying to sell me, I didn't even mean to stop at his table I got pinned in with another guy by people walken past. ( wasnt alot of walker space ) He, like 98% of the seller's, where WAY over priced. I did see a few OK deals but nothing great. Grabbed only a few Morgan's from a seller that stated to me I don't deal in VAMS and found out that most of his Morgan's had where some REALLY very nice VAMS in the mix.lol Needless to say I got those at a steal. I spent $30 bucks for a 1899O MS64+ and found out a few minutes ago while looking in my 100 top vam books that its a VAM6 worth around 1200.00 loll. So I guess I didn't do so bad. Although I went with the intent of meeting up with the guys from IGC which sadly where not there today. I was lead to believe they would be slabbing coins there. Also It seemed that almost all the dealers i talked to seemed let down b the lack of collectors showing up. At least for Sunday turn out. I expressed to them all, its because of parking. I had to park a half mile away and walk in. They really need to have those shows at the EXPO center. that will be CHAOS. Anyhow IMHO i was not over all impressed or happy with the out come. It was maybe one of the saddest coin shows I have ever been to. Sorry to say. If you didn't make it don't sweet it. You didn't miss much. On m way home I thought to myself. I could have staid home and played around on ebay.
