This is on the right side of the window that is to the left of the front door. I know there is a gash through a portion of it, but there is a piece between the window and it's frame that I believe should not be there. Thoughts?

That would be the brick that was thrown at the window!

May I add the two I have on your thread? I believe mine are later with the die crack having lost more metal being somewhat deeper and larger.

I saw an ad today where they are tearing down a 1912 church in Sturgis and will sell you all the red clay bricks (too late to be sunbaked?) you wish to clean and load on site, or they'll clean and deliver them to you. Just in case you get over hating. ;-)

Now if my recall is decent, I'm pretty sure the ones I have came off very close together IF they came from the same mint. I'll get them out tomorrow if nothing erupts.

Would 1912 be sun-baked clay bricks? Those were the only thing available in the early 1800's, or would they have been fired in a kiln? They are two very different beasts with one being soft enough to bore a hole into using a pencil. I forgot when they started kiln baking them although I'm aware many bricks were sun baked long after and the only way I know of to tell for sure is to try boring a hole in them with a pencil.

Is there any way to look and determine without touching them?

You need to start your own unique separate thread.
It's simple to upload a file. Hit Upload a file then choose your picture.
It is a simple answer though.. Worn die strike. The last T on the die was filled with compacted grease.
    Nothing major.

What do you guys think of this? I have never seen one with the windows open? Any thoughts as to it's worth. When I submit to PCGS what would I chose for options to get it graded correctly? Thanks!

They won't grade nor attribute it as anything.

Yes.. Plenty.. It is a worn die strike issue. They are not real actual windows. They don't really open and close. It's struck onto a blank planchet. Die Deterioration will do that.
    Not worth sending it in.
