2004 Nickel & one sided Nickel

Just looking for some info., and maybe a value if anyone could help that would be great. One coin has a mostly blank side (planchet), the other coin looks like it has a mix of material in it. (maybe from a penny.)

Hello,

Your first coin was ground down by someone. Post mint damage.
Your second nickel seems to be somewhat toned.

Both nickels do not have any premium. Worth 10c.

 

ok thanks I figured it may have been ground because of the head outline, but wasn't sure.

 

They just didn't grind it all the way down so some of the lower parts are still visible.
