I'm still pretty new so if I misuse a term feel free to correct me. I came across this 2004 Louisiana purchase nickel and seen that it has a cud on the left sleeve at the top. There is also a die crack in between the u in united. Let me know what you think...
That is not a cud on the cuff. It looks like a die chip. A cud is a break along the rim that extends into the field. The image of the mark in the "U" is too small for me to tell what it is. In the future, it is best for you to resize your images before posting them using the "Full Image" option. The "Thumbnail" sucks! Chris
