Okay so excited. I believe I have my first error coin. And I believe several errors so lets see what everyone thinks. I am crossing my fingers. 1. There appears to be something strange going on with Perry's face. It looks like a set of kissing lips poing to the left on coin. I hope you can see them. 2. there is a small something on Perry's rain coat hanging along the right leg area. 3. There is a Die strike behind V in Victory 4, There is a die strike on rib doing down behind O and R in Victory. 5. There appears to be a strike running vertically to the right of Perry's face that makes it look like he is about to swing a golf blub. Maybe I am too imaginative that I am seeing all these things. I would love to hear people's thoughts.
The Indiana State quarter was produced in 2002 and has the slogan “Crossroads of America” on the reverse design. The coin you posted is an America The Beautiful coin from Ohio called “Perry’s Victory” released in 2013. The coin has no errors, just post-Mint damage (PMD). …imo…Spark.
If you are going to look for errors it is always best to study up first so you know what to look for. There are some great sites like error-ref.com so you can learn what true errors are. You will save yourself tons of time in the long run because you can quickly dismiss most oddities and spot the ones that matter. Good luck.
