This. Many Statehood quarters were gold plated as novelty items. In the early 2000s, I used to sell 'em in my old antique mall booth for a buck apiece, back in the day. People snapped 'em up, especially when I put 'em in inexpensive keychain bezels. So technically it's worth a quarter. But worth a buck or two as a novelty, to the right person.
