I noticed in a collection from my grandfather there is a $20 Krokodil silver coin with "Legends of the Rails" and CE 6/8 .999 on the coin. Judging from what I can tell based on research, it appears to be composed of silver. I would expect to get melt value if I sold it at a dealer, but I've noticed the same coin being listed on Ebay for over $150 with it being graded. Now of course, that could just be someone's wild fantasy to acquire that much for the coin, but I thought I would double check here. It's one of those proof sets in its holder so it's in the case still. There aren't any scratches on the surface of the actual coin from what I can tell and I don't think it's been cleaned. If the dealer offers me melt value, should I tried to negotiate and get a little more, or just accept the fact it's going to be worth the melt value only? Thanks in advance for your time![/QUOTE]
