    Yes.. It is called Environmental Damage. The Clad was affected and changed color. Not a Mint error.

    A true missing clad layer usually occurs just on one side of clad coins.

    Long exposure to soil, dirt, sand, water, heat, chemicals such as soda and juice with acids
