    Hello,
I just wanted to post this quarter and hear what anyone has to say about it or if they have any information about it. The quarter is missing the T in Trust any the Y in Liberty and I think the sideburn hair by the ear may be different then other quarters.

    Thanks.

It's the famous IN GOD WE RUST Quarter.
It's caused by a grease filled die. Just a worn die issue causing the T and Y not to form properly.
Looks cool but nothing really major.
They sell these on ebay for silly amounts when in truth they shouldn't have any premium.
    Bidiots buy them :bucktooth:

    Worth? 25 Cents IMHO

The rest looks like circulation hits and wear.

I certainly would not suggest you spend it. It is an interesting example of a grease filled obverse die and for that reason is a keeper IMHO.

Welcome to Coin Talk! Keep looking for those keepers and enjoy the hobby.

    Welcome to the neighborhood, Joshua!

Like Mr. P. said, it's only worth face value except to a bidiot.

I've only seen the "IN GOD WE RUST" on the Kansas quarters. Not that it can't happen to any of the others since it's just a simple grease filled die. Just never seen it. I'd keep it as a curiosity but I wouldn't hedge my retirement on it.

May not be worth much but it would make for good conversation, in my opinion. I like it, it's different.

Great fun find to hang onto. I'd put it in a 2x2 or some other protection just to prevent additional damage to it.

Just a little too much grease on the machine when that coin was minted. We call them greasers. Best and nice to find but not worth any extra.

Thanks everyone. I kind of figured it wouldn't change the value. My sister in law was digging in her purse one day and had some change in the bottom of it that she had set on the table. I asked her if I could look through the pile of change. Found the quarter and a really beat up 1944 wheat penny.
I do have a penny and a dime that are misaligned when stamped I guess you would call it. Really cool.
