I have come across some Uncirculated 2001 New York State Quarter Die Breaks and I was wanting to see if someone could fill me in on the value of one. I own many die breaks and other error coins but I've never seen this one. I have quarters showing the progression from what I think is the very beginning untill it reaches the edge of the coin. In order to prove that you have a progression from the same die, you need a marker (commonly called a PUP) that can be found on every coin. The marker has to be the same on all coins.

Honestly, die cracks are not that valuable. They are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. ~ Chris

Die cracks are fun and add something a bit cool to a coin but very little to the value.
Some collectors don't even care to own them.

Nice to have especially if you have a number of them and can show the progression of the break. As for value, it's not really worth your time.
