2001 Lincoln cent

    Hi :) there is a 5 under the FG also I see numbering above cent ?

    Those are not errors in my opinion. They are stains that appear like numerals. Copper plated Zinc Cents, which I believe is what you have, is known to show such marks.

    I think you will find it a great help to learn as much as you can about the minting process. Then, it will be much easier for you to identify what is or isn't an error.

    Welcome to the neighborhood, and here is one of my favorite error coins that I found in a Mint bag.

    In 1982, the Mint changed the composition of the cent from 95% copper to 99.2% zinc with a thin copper coating. As a result, it doesn't take much from circulation to make these coins look like crap.
