Those are not errors in my opinion. They are stains that appear like numerals. Copper plated Zinc Cents, which I believe is what you have, is known to show such marks.

In 1982, the Mint changed the composition of the cent from 95% copper to 99.2% zinc with a thin copper coating. As a result, it doesn't take much from circulation to make these coins look like crap. Chris
