i THOUGHT It WAS JUST A BEAT UP DIME BUT THEN I LOOKEd ON THE BACK AND FOUND THAT THIER WAWS AN EXTRA LEAF STAMPED BEFORE THE TREE AND ALSO FOUND MANY OTHER ISSUES LIKE ON THE NOSE AND NECK. AND THE WORD GOD

When a coin is as badly damaged as yours is, the possible existence of an error becomes secondary to the damage. Much like looking at a wrecked car and commenting on the nice paint job. The damage causes it to lose its significance.

MAKES SENSE I JUST DID NOT KNOW IF IT COULD HAVE CAME OUT THAT BAD FROM THE MINT AND SEEING THAT THIRD LEAFE ON THE BOTTOM I THOUGHT MAYBE THE TOOL WENT HAY WIRE BUT ISEE WHERE YOU ARE COMMING FROM AND IT MAKES SENSE THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

 

THANKS FOR THE INFO I HAVE ONE QUETSION THO WHAT WOULD CAUSE THAT LEAF LOOKING SPOT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE OLIVE BRANCH ?

 

Damage. Took a hit (or hits) near the bottom which moved some metal and split the bottom of the branch, using your words, to create "that leaf Looking spot"​

Considering all the other damage, anything you see different you have to first think "Damage"

 

That has seen better days.
