2001 D Lincoln cent

    Others have said they are plating bubbles. I say that is because they are crappy Zincolns.

    I know it does not look like it from the pictures, but this thing is depressed into the coin and not bulging out like a bubble. doesn't look like it's PMD either.

    Nope.. Those are definitely Blisters
    I have seen thousands of examples.

    The shadow pattern says raised.
    They are plating blisters.
    This is a common occurrence on zincolns.

    We always get people insisting that it's the photo and they will take better images. It doesn't matter! It's the coin. Like @paddyman98 says, "We've seen thousands of them!"

    I see both linear plating blisters and a gash that is PMD.
