Hi, i just came across this 20 dollar bill today and noticed there's no color to the bill, & no little yellow "20"s on the reverse side. Is this an error? I tried to look it up & couldn't find anything.

I don't think the 2001 $20 had the little 20's and any color added to them.

Series 2004 was the redesign of the $20.
The BEP added color and removed the oval border around the portrait of Jackson.....among other changes

I have noticed that some of the younger collectors don't realize that their are different older versions of our paper currency. One member created a thread because they could not find a watermark on a bill that was decades old. They didn't use watermarks back then.

Just to be pedantic... The USA didn't use watermarks back then, but many countries have used them for a couple centuries now as a security mechanism.
