2000 sacagawea dollar error?

    Hey guys was looking at my 2000 silver proof set and noticed this odd silverish color on the U .... what do you guys think ? Normal?

    That is odd considering that coin wasn't made in Silver. lol

    I couldn't tell you though, good luck!

    It's just an area of toning.

    Weird. I thought the toning of these would be a dark brass color considering these only contain .02 % nickel from what I've read.

    They can tone any color. This is just a toning spot. It's not attractive.

    Well thanks but I think it is attractive lol. I'm attracted to things different from normal and I have a normal one of these. ;)
