I am getting ready to sell my 98 and 2000 WAMs, they only bring in $5 or so each.

Issac, try to stay on the thread subject. To go off on a large tangent can be "thread hijacking" and a cause for censure. We do use " time outs" here for members who seem to cause disturbances unrelated to the content. Thank you.

It is VDB. It also appears to have some machine doubling on the top of United States.

Oh, and on the top of the Lincoln memorial.

OK, I had the 2000 wide AM penny looked at by a professional. It has doubled die on the E-Pluribus Unum. also double die on the roof of the Lincoln Memorial. And on the United States. Anyone have any idea of a possible value?

Market value is in the eye of the beholder/collector. Can't possibly know at this point. But, if you truly believe your expert/professional is correct, it would be a lot cheaper to send it to John Wexler to have it correctly attributed. It only costs a few dollars but does not get slabbed. You would not be out much money this way in case the pro was wrong. You can find the details on how to submit to him at www.doubleddie.com. Just click on this link and you'll be on your way. While you are there, see if your coin is already listed. A lot of great info on his site and cheaper than buying a book as it's all free info. And if yours is not listed and is a new variety, he will photograph it and include in his listings and give you credit for it. (Your claim to fame) Good luck and keep us posted.

I'm jealous you found something like that. I've been through SO many rolls of pennies. Nothing yet, but I'm not giving up. Nice find!
