2000 P SC quarter error?

    Is this damaged or an error? The quarter is on the back of my hand in the photos.

    Looks like damage to the rim affected both sides.

    Welcome to CT @Olocart. It appears to me to have been squeezed between something that caused damage to both side. Not a mint error of any kind.
    Good luck on the hunt and thanks for posting the photos full image. It really helps. Also, you can crop all background using a free online app at https://www.remove.bg
