Got this coin the other day and had seen this on the eagle side, any thoughts as to if this is damaged or an error?

    thanks

    Interesting..
I really can't cant tell what that could be.
Can you try to describe it a bit?
    Is it raised or incused?

If you look at the coin from an angle it looks raised a bit, definitely didn't see one like it from some pictures of other coins online

Looks like the coin took a hit on the right side and pushed the metal over to the left side.

with that picture it looks like it took a hit.
On your first photo there was another hit above the 3rd star which was similar looking at the light, but of course different.

The rim of another coin hitting it as it was ejected from the press.
