Ken Potter shows pictures of the years 83, 85, 97 and 98 Cent Lincoln Brass Plated. I have not found information about other years. The yellow coloration of this 2000 is different than the 2000 standard. I would like to know more about this color or discoloration.
i believe ken potter mentioned that this could possibly acur with any year plated cent, when the plating solution sits in the vats too long the chemical reaction turns it to brass, i have about half a dozen plated cents that look like yours but i know of no way to tell if its brass plated or toned.....
