So I'm hearing the Satin finish, and the death eagle are what make this coin so rare. And ebay shows prices range from $20 to $2000. Can anyone tell if this is a satin finish? I apologize in advance for the horrible picture quality...
It appears to me that you have a normal $1 coin but it also appears that your coin has ( environmental damage) so I don't see any value over face. JMO Dave
Unless it's in a slab, you don't have one. All 5000 were slabbed by Ms. Goodacre after she received them as payment from the mint https://www.usacoinbook.com/coins/3378/dollars/sacagawea/2000-P/goodacre-presentation-finish/
@WideEyeNow, why do you think it's a satin finish? What diagnostics did you do to determine that it could possibly be the coin you think it is?
So why not research the coin you think it is and do a comparison to the one you have. Once you are truly stumped you can bring your coin here, along with what you have learned along the way, and have a thoughtful conversation.
