2000 Lincoln Penny - Error??

I took it to a local dealer and he said the outer edge did not contain the copper and the zinc was exposed. He did not know if it was a mint error o if someone filed tdown, he thought it was an error. He thought the value would be around $4.00.

The other coin I showed him, he was very excited to see. He had not seen one yet. It was a territorial coin 1861 $5.00 Clark, Gruber. He indicated I should get it graded. Perhaps VG around for $2,000.

I have one of these 2000 pennies too. It sounds like this was an error in processing.

I also have one of these pennies. The right side has a very smooth rounded edge. It was also minted in 2000. Sounds like there is an error for sure.
