I have this weird looking 2000 D Lincoln penny obverse and reverse all the lettering similar color. The coin is much darker than what it looks in the picture for some reason. And the "A" on America, on reverse side, looks like if it wasn't for that spread it will be a wide A M.

And at the building there's some sort of die die crack at the very top Center.

But this penny looks very different from all the ones that have 2000
The color specially has anyone seen a coin like this? CM200204-001825013.jpg CM200204-005949007.jpg CM200204-003704053.jpg

Also on the reverse side where Lincoln is chilling having a few, JK....Lmao.
But at the top (his) left shoulder, above his shoulder to (your) CM200204-010245013.jpg CM200204-010027008.jpg right. Is that supposed to be part of Lincoln's seat or maybe some sort of doubling? If I did I apologize.....that was not my intention.

Is that why I'm not getting any comments on my posting?

Danomite What do you say uh-huh

It looks like you have a cent stuck by worn dies and may have split the plating. Circulation wear made it worse exposing the zinc. There is no WAMs for 2000 D. I don’t see any doubling to the east of Lincoln. JMO

The plating was affected to expose the inner zinc. That occurred after it left the Mint. Just damaged.
All the high points were ground off.

    like Paddyman,
I see the high points grounded off. This is all over the place, as in "all over the place"
such as it was put on a flattish surface and pushed which ground off the higher points of the rim, letters, memorial, bust etc. Such as could be found in a parking lot in the early stages of total annihilation.
