    Have been my eye out for them in circulation as previous years have had some interesting errors.
    These 1 & 2 pence coins were all pocket change also, uploadfromtaptalk1429817682113.jpg
    Im like a magpie sometimes,im a sucker for a shiny coin.

    well done,i used to work in a bank and it is unusual to see the coinage of the year until about october

    Shiny is a legitimate reason for coveting a coin!

    Most definitely. I do mainly look for the weird and wonderful error's but at my weakest,those shiny beauties get me all the time.

    Nice one :) I have the whole set of the shield minus the 50p. Perhaps next time I stop in the UK I will be able to pick it up.
