I continue to sift through coin accumulation -- coins outside of my normal numismatic topics. It's been fun getting my neurons firing in new ways.

This one is 20.3 grams. Diameter is ~29.5-31mm. Rough, overly-loved condition.

My wild, amateurish guess is: Roman, Sestetius, Marcus Aurelius or Commodus? Date? Am I even in the ballpark? :D

Many thanks for your thoughts and wisdom!

So I may have blundered off in the correct direction with my guesses?
Nice to see what it may have looked like.

A very unusual type for a MA sestertius, to say the least, well done

An unusual type? Is it? Any wisdom or elaboration would be appreciated. I make no pretense of being knowledgeable in this area. Thanks!
