    According to Judd's book on pattern coins (8th edition), no large pattern or off-metal large cents were minted in 1951.

    If this is a coin in your possession, can you post some pictures?

    That is a Lincoln cent that had a cud over the word GOD, so, no GOD showing, therefore an athiest cent.

    These were promoted about 20 years ago.

    Sold for big bucks, and then the fad died out.
