I have been in the mood to acquire a few Sasanians lately and luckily Vauctions/Pars Coins had a large assortment in the last auction.

I was targeting the low bid examples for rulers I didn't have and was able to acquire these two at opening bids. Still cheaper than buying individually from a dealer despite the 18% juice added & shipping.

I had a few others I targeted of the same rulers but Frank Robinson himself outbid me on all of them, so I guess these two didn't appeal to him, thankfully.

Both nice coins. Like their large flans.

@Mat.......Nice looking pair!...I nearly bid on the 2nd as the chunky reverse altar and overall pose of the attendants really appealed....Cool pick ups!

    Nice coins, @Mat .

My two are the start and near-end of the Sasanians.
