Found this in a 1965 Mint set.

Can clearly make out "PLU" in PLURIBUS and some of the leaves and lettering on the reverse that was struck into the obverse.

On the reverse, you can very clearly make out the outline of Roosevelt's head.

Now for the double die clash with counter clashing...

One of the strongest I've seen. Can clearly make out the torch outline, part of the word ONE, leaves, and other markings of the reverse struck into the obverse.

On the reverse, a clear outline of FDR's head, and even the tops of the "1" in the date (above the upside down F in OF) as well as part of IN GOD WE TRUST.

2 weeks ago, I didn't have one of these. Now I have a dramatic one, amd a less dramatic one found sealed in a Mint set.

    Very cool. Enjoy!

Nice. I have never heard of a double clash. I can see it very well.

Maybe someone can tell us how the images transfered to the recess of the die. There is transfer on Roosevelt's neck etc. Yet the clashing was not strong enough to show on the reverse except in the field.
It's a cool looking clash and counter I am just wondering how this happened.
Maybe due to one die face being more convex or a mis alignment?

Here's a coin I have that is a triple die clash, but only on the first strike.

    Imho, nice die clash Joe!
It’s always cool to find a sealed mint Error!

Did you notice that you have a few more minor errors on a couple of the other coins in the set?

Are those beads or die chips behind Kennedy’s head?
