Picked up this 1951 50 Franc Morocco coin, and this 1956 500 Franc coin, also Moroccan. Both look low grade uncirculated to me. Seller’s pictures, as they are shipping from Paris.

Yeah, you say Morocco, I'm here. I love the geometric designs of the Moroccan coinage, I love the history, I love the culture, I love the food. I'm a huge fan of Morocco.

Both of these are extremely common, but quite popular coins. The 500 Francs is a solid, hefty silver coin. Yours appears to be a 63 or 64, with some secondary toning after a dip. I have owned several of these, but my current example is an MS-66 shown below.

I'd probably call your 50 francs a 64 with a chance at 65. This is a very popular and common coin, because it was saved in high grades and I don't think it was used very much. The 50 francs is widely available in 66 or 67, but gets quite tough in 68. My MS-68 example is shown below.

Wow, yours are gorgeous! Yes, they are quite common, with millions minted, and hoarded, but are extremely artistic designs. Since my wife was a FSO in Tangier, Morocco, before I met her, I am very interested in their coinage.

Great looking coins @Morgandude11. I can see why you purchased them. I'm a fan of Morrocco coins also.
