    If you have questions about a coin you need to post better images of both sides of the coin.
    Also ask questions that have merits , how would anyone here know a story behinde a coin they haven't seen or own? That has either been altered or damage in its 400 years of history?

    It does not look authentic to me.
    The 2 holes make me think it was part of a pendant. Could be a medallion made to resemble a Spanish coin.

    Indeed. This is not a coin, but a medallion made in imitation of the Spanish arms as seen on this 8-reales piece.

    (Though yours says "4", indicating it's an imitation of a 4-reales piece.)

    Does it have a value?

    Imitation = no value

    Its only value is whatever someone would pay you for it.

    I'd say a few cents to a dollar at most, if somebody liked it as a knickknack.
