Unlike other denominations that are used only for church collection plates and donations to the Red Cross? Teddy Roosevelt opposed using the motto "In God We Trust" on money because it's used to facilitate all manner of ungodly transactions. When it's paper money, not only does the sin linger, so does the taint.
Well, crap, I couldn't even begin to count how many I have put into circulation, all new. I just gave one to my wife as a tip on her first check of the night (Thai's have this thing about good luck) at the restaurant she works at when I ate dinner. I put at least $20 a week into circulation just buying my lottery ticket twice a week when the jackpot is high. In the next week I will take $400 new ones to a different bank where I got them from to pay the car loan. My bank would appreciate it if I didn't return them there as they just go back to the center they get their money from every week. And then I still have 7 packs of new ones that will hopefully be here Wed. for me to pick up. I plan to buy a money order with those after I go through them and pull what I want and pay some of my travel hacking credit card bills.
I spend $2 bills pretty much every day. Last week spent $2000 worth making car payment and paying a credit card bill for our upcoming trip to Europe. Spent about $100 more yesterday but usually do some every day.
