Collectors typically consider a note with a minimum of five leading zeros to be low <999. Stamps are usually bad. But there are exceptions. For example, the Clemson Tigers football team travels well. They show up for away games and especially title games. To illustrate their economic impact on a city they visit, they spend $2 notes stamped with an Orange Tiger Paw. The notes show up everywhere. I got these when Clemson played Alabama in the 2018 Championship game played here in Tampa.
So far this has been the lowest numbers I have come across. I will send back out into circulation if I come across smaller notes. Thanks Mr steve
Good morning CT WORLD, I have a 2013 $2 bill circulated. Nothing special far as serial number. Front plates are micro and back plate is macro. It's a bit misaligned around the border. It has a "marking" to the left of the bill..is this something to hold onto or recirculate? Thank you as always for your help, time, and input
The marking on left front looks like an ink smudge from either teller stamp or a strap mark. The misalignment is minor and still within parameters to let out in circulation. The ones most would consider keepers are when the design is clipped upon misalignment.
I don't see anything out of the ordinary with what you show circled on the reverse of the second 2 dollar note posted. Keep searching
