http://www.cointalk.com/t111875/#post909713 New round is up. BTW only 14 people left. Looks like a lot of people missed the MPC. I wondered why at first then tried Google and saw when you put in MPC 10 dollar the first one up said it in the text but posted a picture of the $1. So many put that which was wrong
The last question about the notgeld was confusing. Did it mean how many were minted, how many different denominations, how many different types were there, etc?
Someone asked that later in the thread and it was how many types. Either way it was D and I think everyone got that one right. I believe that there were over 14000 different ones made.
I don't know what the final answer he had in mind was, but all the info I could find showed just the VARIETIES in the 10's of thousands, so the number of notes obviously would have been significantly more, so the answer would have been the same either way.... Just my 2 cents...
I agree, the only two I thought that I might have got wrong were seem to be confirmed right in here so now I am really confused what I got wrong.
I think I might have missed the Kansas City District number and letter. I said it was/covered the 10th district and was letter J. The others I thought I had right haha, but obviously not.
Here are the answers I sent in, maybe someone can show me where I went wrong: Dime mintage, should have been the 1997-s. D'oh 1. 1864 two cent piece 2. Ben franklin 3. 1916-d 4. Presidential, ike, peace, morgan 5. J-10 6. Cheif hollow horn 7. 1993-s with 761,353 minted 8. .7734 ounces pure silver 9. Sheldon scale 10. D
What year was ben franklin president? And 1996-w roosevelt dime. 1993-s had the number you quote minted in SILVER but the total minting of that year/mint was nearly 3 million.
