2 1959 D Cracked Skull LMC

    Going through my accumulation and found these two that are commonly referred to as "Cracked Skull" LMC's. As always, feedback is essential to my continued education.

    Yes. If you want confirmation these coins exhibit interior die cracks you are going to have to do better than these photos. The photos have to be a lot crisper for that purpose.

    OK, here’s my verdict. Seeing some lamination tear on the first skull and a thin die crack along the second skull.

    FWIW, BTW, just so you don’t get the wrong idea, your original pics I thought were good, just not for this diagnostic purpose. Even these second pics are a little hazy still for that purpose.
