    Yes they are 1943 steel cents. They aren't reprocessed either. yay?

    The local coin show used to have a 55 gallon steel drum filled 3/4ths up with steel cents. I dug a foot down into it before, mostly rusty black with few coins with a little zinc left. The show moved and the drum didnt follow. I wonder what they did with it...
