I think there should be a rule where you can't make a thread in contests without having an actual prize.
Honestly! I wish people would stop starting these contests if there isn't a prize!@ Bragging rights ain't didley sheet. Thanks Green18 for making it a legitimate contest. Likes and all that is just idiocrity!
With the rather excessive and demanding rules, on top of the fact that someone else has offered a prize for your contest, doing this soon would probably be a good idea even if for most it's not about the prize itself, but the fun of entering. JMO.
Cripes Books, I just want to keep the fun going. Snipes at the young one (not you) I can't abide. He came here looking to have some fun and I want to help him see it through. Let's have fun People!
Cripes, Green; it was a respectful suggestion for the young fellow. It seems that he likes to hold contests, so what's the harm in pointing out that they may be more fun for the participants if at least a little something were offered? Remember the only saying "it's the thought that counts"?
This is my oldest and most favorite coin to own. My 1794 Head of '94 S-49 Rarity-2. I am a YN and ever since I started collecting coins it was my dream to own a flowing hair design of any denomination. Except I NEVER believed that I would be able to afford one... Fortunately, I recently acquired this coin and sent it into NGC to get graded. It came back Fine DETAILS "corrosion" and although people would be upset that it is in a details holder, I am ecstatic that I have a graded flowing hair large cent in my collection! Hopefully there will be many more in the future that I can add to it!!! Thanks for holding the contest coingeek12 and thanks green18 for throwing in a prize!
Just saw that we shouldn't only post pictures of our oldest coin but also talk about it. Well, what can I say, it was expensive, but I thought heck, who needs diapers and milk anyways, that coin is more important... no diapers this month ;-)
Anyone else wanna post a coin? I have added a prize. One complementary coin ring from me! (size of your choice)(I will tell the winner the available states)
I noticed that you're making these now, and it looks as if they're coming along quite nicely; a fine prize indeed, CG. Kudos!
