Every now and then an example becomes available that is worn enough to cause serious aurei collectors to have no desire for it, yet still has enough device and legend remaining to attribute it. I would love to find such an example for under $1000 that is neither a fourrée nor heavily damaged -- ideally with enough of the ruler's name to be readable. Perhaps someone out there has an extra? Or perhaps knows someone who does? Hoping so!
