Both are really nice, Chris. I've always wanted one of those quadrantes with the hands. Here's a recently-photographed Titus with classic wreath-on-chair reverse.
Congratulations on adding 1st century coins to your collection. Those are nice examples. The 1st (and 2nd) centuries have constituted my focus areas for the last 25+ years, so you can say I am a biased toward coins of this era. These are some of my coins for Claudius and Titus. No quadrant among them, unfortunately. Sestertius of Claudius - Wreath Aureus of Claudius: Denarius of Titus - Venus leaning on Column As of Titus - Victoria Navalis Sestertius of Titus - Roma standing (rough, cleaned, abused, but a nice portrait I think)
A pair of clasped hands, a denarius for Clodius Albinus struck at Lugdunum. The clasped hands symbolize the allegiance of the legions toward Clodius's cause.
Super posts everyone!! In the spirit of posting one of Claudius that I wanted to 'check' off my list, I'll add this small bronze which includes the portrait of Agrippina Minor. CLAUDIUS, 41-54 A.D. CLAUDIUS and AGRIPPINABronze (16mm, 5.18gm.) Lydia: Thyateira, 50 A.D. Reference: RPC 2380. SNG Munich 611. TI KLAUDIOS KAISAR SEBASTOS, bare head of Claudius right. AGRIPPINAN SEBASTHN QUATIRHN[OI], draped bust of Agrippina right.
