Found this 1999S Wide AM Cent. Does anyone know how much it is worth?

That is the normal reverse for a proof of that date. On the proof, its the close AM that you want.

How do you know it is a proof coin?

Look it up in your redbook. You've been posting on here for awhile and have read that it's a great book for new collectors. Surely you bought a copy by now.

The S mint mark is a clear indication it is a proof.

    Check your Red Book

or at least USACOINBOOK (and buy a Redbook .. it is the *first* thing you should have before, before starting to collect coins).

if you look at usacoinbook .. first the 1999 S ... there are no G-MS grades. Only PR - Proof grade. So they only made a Proof coin. Keep in Mind that San Francisco is known for making proofs (check your redbook).

yours is an impaired proof - impaired meaning damaged, put in circulation, etc.

there's also many threads here on CT that review the physical differences between Proof and Circulations coins or just generally google it.

The S mint mark, and the outer rim is flat with a small wire rim indicates its a proof.

It's been in circulation - so it's sometimes called
    an Impaired Proof.

Thanks to all of you for your responses. I did know that but just forgot. Getting old and forgetful.

Most S mint marks after high school are proofs

It's a proof Mary. Since it's been in circulation it's called an impaired proof.

PS. Looks like it's starting to tone so so place it in a 2x2 holder to keep and protect it.
